Returns & Exchanges
Winding Road Racing gladly accepts returns and exchanges.
Simply need to exchange an item for a different size? Give us a call (512-994-0656) or send us an email (contact@windingroad.com) and we will be happy to process an exchange for you!
Returns:
- For merchandise returned within 30 days of ship date, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment at the original selling price. Merchandise must be unused and in its original packaging. Please note that shipping fees will not be refunded.
- For merchandise returned between 31-60 days of ship date, a 20% restocking fee will be applied, and a refund will be issued in the form of Winding Road Racing store credit. Merchandise must be unused and in its original packaging. Please note that shipping fees will not be refunded.
- For Clearance/Closeout items returned between 0-60 days of ship date, a 20% restocking fee will be applied, and a refund will be issued in the form of Winding Road Racing store credit. Merchandise must be unused and in its original packaging. Please note that shipping fees will not be refunded.
- Unfortunately, due to their custom nature, we do not allow returns or exchanges on custom orders (race suits, etc.). All custom orders are final.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable) books with obvious signs of use, CDs, DVDs, software, or video games that have been opened. Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
How to Process Your Return
- Log into your account on WindingRoadRacing.com. Click “Purchase History”
- Select the applicable order number (“Purchase Number”) in your order history
- Click “Request a Return”
- Select all the items you would like to return and click “Submit Request”
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Box up the unused merchandise in its original packaging and include a copy of your receipt/invoice. Please note on the receipt/invoice that it is a return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your item to reach us may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Without tracking information, we cannot prove your item was shipped and, more importantly, you cannot prove it was delivered to us.
Refunds: (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment (usually within a few days, however, we cannot specify due to transaction processing times varying from one bank to another).
If you are returning merchandise within the 31-60 day window, you will be issued a WRR store credit for your order amount, however, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the total.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact@windingroad.com.
Exchanges
Need to get a different size? We'll gladly accept unworn and unaltered merchandise for an exchange. All tags must be attached, and items must be returned in original packaging.
We are also happy to exchange items if they are defective or damaged.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will be aware of your return.
